VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Nelson Manuel Rivas (DOB 10/21/98), of Oxnard, has been sentenced to 5 years 8 months in prison for felony gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence of alcohol causing great bodily injury, for killing one juvenile female and causing severe injury to another.
