VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Jennifer (Jenna) Leporati (DOB 03/10/73), of Thousand Oaks, was sentenced to serve 28 months in the Ventura County Jail, immediately followed by 32 months of supervised probation.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that George Edward Malone, Jr. (DOB 7/20/68), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 24 years 4 months in state prison for the death of Paul Blevins, Jr., also of Oxnard. On November 10, 2020, Malone pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted an allegation that he personally used a knife in the commission of the offense. Malone also pled guilty to unlawful taking or driving of a vehicle, and that he had suffered a prior serious felony conviction.

VENTURA, California –District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Joel Gonzales
(DOB 02/11/96), of Camarillo, was charged with the October 15, 2020, sexual assaults of two female residents of the Royal Gardens assisted living center in Camarillo.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Jessica Navarro
(DOB 6/22/89), of Ventura, was sentenced for the murder of her 22-month-old son.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Doyle Alan Johnson (DOB 7/11/65), of Ventura, pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted personally using a knife in the August 29, 2019, killing of Audrey Evans, also of Ventura.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Oscar Reyes
(DOB 9/21/87), of Oxnard, has been charged with the murder of Carlos Ramirez, also of Oxnard. The complaint charges one count of murder with a special allegation that Reyes personally used a firearm in the commission of the crime.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Ventura County Superior Court Judge Paul Baelly heard evidence in the preliminary examination of Tim Gautier (DOB 6/21/65), of Thousand Oaks, for the murder of his wife Gina Gautier. After the hearing, the judge found probable cause to hold Tim Gautier for trial on one count of murder with a special allegation that he personally discharged a firearm during the commission of the crime.
