District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Edgar Castrejon (DOB 10/03/77), of Oxnard, was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail, placed on probation for one year, and ordered to pay victim restitution.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Jonathan Zambrano (DOB 01/24/90), of Oxnard, was sentenced to 22 years in state prison for the death of Albert Salazar, also from Oxnard. On February 8, 2021, Zambrano pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted to personally using a firearm in the shooting.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Nathaniel Wills (DOB 04/11/88), of Oxnard, has been charged in Ventura County Superior Court case 2021002554 with second-degree murder for the killing of Leonel Parks.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Erik Nasarenko announced today that Doyle Alan Johnson (DOB 7/11/65), of Ventura, was sentenced to 28 years in state prison for the killing of Audrey Evans, also from Ventura. On February 3, 2021, Johnson pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter and admitted to personally using a knife.

(4JR) and its owners, Ahed and Rhoda Rabadi, of Los Angeles, entered a $100,000 settlement agreement for a history of noncompliance related to the operation of underground storage tanks (USTs) at their Ventura County facilities.
