Erik Nasarenko meets with Ventura County Asian American Bar Association

Erik Nasarenko met virtually with members of the Ventura County Asian American Bar Association to discuss the reporting and prosecution of hate crimes and to share with them that a senior prosecutor in the DA’s office was responsible for vertically analyzing all cases where the crime may have been motivated by the victim’s race, ethnicity, national heritage, sexual orientation, disability, or religion.
