VENTURA, California – The prosecution of Joseph DeAngelo involves dozens of victims and crimes that were committed beginning more than four decades ago. It was not until the advent of Investigative Genetic Genealogy that we were able to successfully identify DeAngelo as the suspect in a series of rapes, burglaries and murders that spanned 11 counties over more than a decade.

VENTURA, California – District Attorney Gregory D. Totten announced today that Megan Elizabeth Zucaro (DOB 7/11/70), of Thousand Oaks, pled guilty to one felony count of diversion of construction funds. Zucaro was charged with one felony count of grand theft, one felony count of diversion of construction funds and one felony count of money laundering.

Totten announced today that Rudolph Neidhardt (DOB 3/5/86), of Simi Valley, has been charged with the murder of Michael Majewski, which occurred on April 18, 2020, in Simi Valley. The complaint charges one count of murder and a special allegation that Neidhardt used a knife during the commission of the crime.
